About the BLEAK DISTRICT ELECTRIC RecHead
The Bleak District Electric RecHead is a cassette tape-style modulator pedal, replicating the tape saturation, flutter and lo-fi organic character of this good-old physical media.
RecHead Controls
At its heart is a vibrato which is extremely dynamic; sensitive to how soft or hard you play, which can be fine-tuned using the Sensitivity control.
Blending in some of your Dry signal turns wobbly vibrato into lush yet lo-fi chorus.
The Tape control adjusts the blend of wet signal, or "tape saturation".
The Portastudio-style 3-way Dolby NR (Noise Reduction) toggle gives you ultimate flexibility in how grainy your sound is. It also affects how prominent the vibrato or chorus effects is perceived to be.
By adjusting the mix of Tape and Dry you can achieve some unique and very interactive sounds.
