RAYGUN FX Vintage Booster

Awesome Analogue Power!

The Raygun FX Vintage Booster is a single-dial boost pedal that can add just a touch of meatiness to your core tone or push your valves into beautiful overdrive with +24dB of boost on tap.

Great as a clean or slightly dirty solo boost, the Vintage Booster looks and sounds like it belongs alongside some of those vintage amps we all revere. It has a beautifully organic character that's really addictive to play with.

Loosely based on the ZVEX Super Hard-On circuit, this boost is driven by a MOSFET transistor.

Raygun FX are based in Southend-On-Sea in the UK. High profile users of their pedals include Grant Nicholas of Feeder, Jez Williams of Doves, Tim Smith of Noel Gallaghers’ High Flying Birds, and Tim Wheeler of Ash.

FREDRIC EFFECTS DuoFace

£140.00

Dual Personality Fuzz Face...

The Fredric Effects DuoFace is your one-stop shop for the Fuzz Face tones you've been dreaming of. Whether you covet the germanium circuit of early Hendrix, or the more agressive post-'68 silicon version, the DuoFace allows you to have both in a single pedal.

The Fuzz Face is one of the most famous fuzz pedals of all time, used by guitarists including Jimi Hendrix, David Gilmour, Duane Allman, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Eric Johnson and Joe Bonamassa. It's renowned for its ability to clean up with the guitar's volume pot, making it a great effect if you like to control your sound with your fingers rather than your feet.

The DuoFace allows you to switch between the germanium and silicon circuits using the toggle switch, and each circuit features a Bias trimpot to adjust how the transistors react - from gated and splatty to smooth and sustainy - for a wide variety of useable sounds.

Hendrix licks not included!

Features:

  • Dual fuzz based on the Fuzz Face Germanium & silicon circuits
  • Handmade in London, UK
  • Gain, Volume, Si Bias, Ge Bias & circuit toggle controls
  • Power: 9V centre-negative or 9V battery (neither included)

£95.00

Incredible Value for a Dual Channel Drive!

The Raygun FX Dual Soda Drive+ is a super-flexible drive pedal which ranges from boost to dense distortion. It combines two Soda Drive+ circuits in a single pedal, with the option to run each channel independently or stack them for more tonal variation.

Both channels have a 3-way toggle switch, allowing you to select from Dirty, Boost (less gain, more volume) or Fuzz (a germanium diode) modes.

Founder of Raygun FX, Steve has even added slightly different germanium diodes to each channel to give subtle variations in the Fuzz mode.

Handwired in Southend-On-Sea in the UK, it's easy to see why this is one of our most popular pedals: the Dual Soda Drive+ is a serious bit of kit at a great price!

Features:

  • Dual-channel overdrive/distortion pedal
  • 3-way toggle for each channel: Boost, Drive & Fuzz
  • Non-identical germanium diodes give each channel a slightly different character in Fuzz mode

FORMULA B Fuzz Rangers

£175.00

Legendary Boost & Fuzz In One Pedal!

The Formula B Fuzz Rangers takes two iconic circuits and encloses them in a beautifully finished chassis, with vintage-style controls. With the option to run the Fuzz or Boost independently, it's an incredibly flexible pedal for your pedalboard, but where it gets interesting is that there's a toggle to set the direction of the signal. You can choose whether to run the Boost into the Fuzz, or vice-versa. The results differ dramatically...

Fuzz

The Fuzz circuit is based on the silicon Fuzz Face, using a pair of NOS military-spec BC108 transistors and carbon-layer resistors. It sounds great on its own, and reacts really nicely to your guitar's volume pot - as Fuzz Faces do. Running the Fuzz into the Boost gets you a clearer tone with plenty of gain to push your amp, showcasing all that lovely Fuzz Face breakup.

Boost

The Boost circuit is based on the Dallas Rangemaster Treble Booster, with silicon BC549 transistors to reduce compatibility problems (polarity, power etc) with the Fuzz circuit. Uniquely, there's a toggle switch to shift the Boost emphasis between Low, Mid and High frequencies, making it more flexible than a traditional Rangemaster. Running the Boost into the Fuzz saturates the input of the Fuzz Face and gets you a rich, warm, super-fuzzy character which responds well to how you set the EQ toggle.

More than simply for fans of Jimi Hendrix and Stevie Ray Vaughan, this pedal will serve you well with its vintage vibe and tonal flexibility.

Features:

  • Dual-channel pedal with independent Fuzz and Boost circuits.
  • NOS BC108 transistors and carbon-layer resistors on the Fuzz side.
  • Silicon-based Rangemaster circuit on the Boost side for greater compatibility with the Fuzz.
  • Effects Order toggle switch enables you to run the Fuzz into the Boost, or the Boost into the Fuzz when both channels are activated.
  • EQ toggle allows you to emphasise Low, Mid or High frequencies on the Boost side.
  • Handmade in Todi, Italy
  • Fuzz, Level, Boost, EQ toggle & Effects Order toggle controls
  • Power: 9V power supply, centre-negative (not included)
  • Current draw: 10mA

GREENHOUSE EFFECTS Logos Chorus-Vibrato

£158.00

Modulation Powerhouse...

The Greenhouse Effects Logos Chorus-Vibrato is a cleverly designed and beautifully executed modulation powerhouse with 3 chorus modes plus a classic vibrato effect accessed by turning the Mix knob to 100%.

What's more, an expression pedal input makes the Greenhouse Effects Logos even more controllable and versatile on the stage.

If a wealth of chorus is what you are after, the Logos has it: pitch shifting, multiple voices, LFO, feedback, envelope detection, waveforms, distortion and even reverb are blended together and rearranged to make 48 different combinations of incredible modulation.

The pedal's party trick is its "Logos" mode, which is a chorus with an LFO featuring various pitch interval settings and added reverb. As Roy at Greenhouse Effects says, "it feels like an organ player is playing along with you in a large hall!"

The 3 Chorus Modes:

  1. Order Mode: Classic chorus with up to 8 cascading voices, normal to extreme depth, DSS: Max Depth for noisy chaos. Hidden feature: Automated rate.
  2. Chaos Mode: 8 chaotic modes of pitch modulation, envelope LFO, waveforms and double voice. DSS: Max Depth
  3. Logos Mode: Beautiful, dreamy chorus with 8 combinations of modulated intervals, octave up/down, 5th intervals, and flanger-like modulation at lower settings. This setting includes a hall-style reverb for added angelic ambience. DSS: Max Depth for noisy chaos. Hidden feature: LFO off.

DSS Switching

One genius implementation is the DSS (Dual Switching System) , which gives you access to secondary functions in each mode when you hold down the footswitch for more than 200ms. There are also "hidden" features for each mode, accessed by maxing out the Rate control.

The Logos is another example of the great work Greenhouse Effects has been doing combining analogue circuitry with digital controls. Sit down with this for a weekend and explore all the sounds it has to offer - there's a lot to discover!

Features:

  • Multi-mode chorus pedal with vibrato setting
  • Unique "Logos" mode
  • Mod, Depth, Rate/Sens/Pitch & Mix controls
  • True bypass
  • Power: 9V power adaptor, centre-negative (not included)

FORMULA B Vintage Vibe Mk2

£199.00

So Addictive!

The Formula B Vintage Vibe Mk2 is a superb homage to the original 'Leslie-in-a-pedal', the Uni-Vibe. It's one of those memorable and highly addictive effects, up there with fuzz in terms of the character it endows songs with.

Most famously used by Jimi Hendrix during his Woodstock set and live Band Of Gypsys album, as well as by David Gilmour on Pink Floyd tracks such as 'Breathe', and Robin Trower on his Bridge Of Sighs album, the Uni-Vibe is all over late-1960s and early '70s rock.

The Formula B Vintage Vibe Mk2 sounds phenomenal with its fully discrete, analogue signal path. Made with original THT BC549 and 2Sc1815 transistors and quality photoresistors, plus an internal voltage doubler giving 18V of power, this is capable of achieving seriously chewy, organic chorus and vibrato effects with plenty of headroom.

Like the original, the Vintage Vibe Mk2 has a Volume control that allows you to achieve unity gain with the rest of your setup. You can even use it to boost your amp or other pedals - there's plenty of volume gain on tap.

Chorus/Vibrato toggle

With the toggle in the Chorus position you get the full Uni-Vibe experience. With the toggle in the Vibrato position you get out of tune pitch-bend vibrato.

Dual footswitch

The dual-footswitch design allows you to set Speed 1 and Speed 2 and access them on-the-fly. A typical setup would be to use a slower speed for rhythm playing then kick in a faster speed for solos.

Features:

  • Analogue chorus/vibrato based on the Uni-Vibe
  • Dual-speed operation with two separate footswitches
  • Old-stock transistors and high quality photoresistors
  • 9V to 18V internal voltage doubler
  • Power: 9V power adaptor, centre-negative (not included)
  • Current draw: 100-150mA

GREENHOUSE EFFECTS Deity Reverb

£158.00

Multi-Mode Reverb...

The Greenhouse Effects Deity reverb is an ambient effect pedal like no other. Choose from either true bypass or buffered signal with trails, as well as 3 different reverb modes (Natural, Sentient & Ethereal).

The Natural mode is a room/hall-type reverb with controls for Decay, Tone, Pre Delay & Mix. Turn the Decay control fully clockwise and the reverb begins to oscillate to create a rotating room effect. This can be adjusted using the Tone control.

Sentient mode is an immersive reverb with dynamic modulation, combining tremolo and filter effects which can be adjusted using the Depth/LFO & Sensitivity/Rate controls.

Ethereal mode is a lush reverb with high and low octaves which can be blended in independently using the Octave Down & Octave Up controls.

Features:

  • Decay, Tone/Depth/Octave Down, Pre Delay/Sensitivity/Octave Up, Mix & Mode controls.
  • Select between true bypass or buffered with trails modes
  • Multi-talented reverb with three modes
  • Power: 9V power adaptor, centre-negative (not included)

RAYGUN FX Twin Fuel Driver

Fatten Up Your Tone!

The Raygun FX Twin Fuel Driver is a meaty dual-channel overdrive pedal. Although it has plenty of boost, there's slightly less gain on tap compared to the Dual Soda Drive+.

You can use each channel independently or stack them for added oomph, with each featuring a toggle to switch between Boost and Dirty modes.

There's plenty of girth here to fatten up your tone without obscuring your core sound, and stacking the channels can push your amp into singing sustain. And don't think this pedal is just for guitar - try it with bass too!

Features:

  • Dual-channel overdrive pedal
  • Boost & Dirty mode toggle switch per channel
  • Drive, & Volume controls x2
  • True bypass
  • Handwired in the UK
  • Power: 9V DC, 100mA centre-negative (not included)

ZANDER CIRCUITRY SiClone Silicon Chaos Initiator

£149.00

Sonic Annihilation...

From it’s humble beginnings as a modified Fuzz Factory' circuit to its latest iteration, Zander Circuitry's first pedal model has come a long way.

These days the SiClone Silicon Chaos Initiator is a super-versatile 8-knob fuzz monstrosity, capable of taking you from vintage-style fuzz tones right through to complete sonic annihilation!

There is plenty of scope to push your imagination with this pedal - use the Shunt control to tame feedback and create stuttering gated effects. Squash compresses the attack, creating a synth-like character at higher settings. Starve restricts the voltage to the circuit, creating beautiful dying-battery sounds. Bright allows you to dial in just the right amount of high frequency, while Body enables you to emphasise or cut the low end. Punch controls the mid-range frequencies.

The Tone footswitch allows you to bypass the Bright and Punch settings to give a fat, mid-rich sound with a volume boost, although the output can be reduced by means of an internal trim pot if required.

What's new?

This latest version of the Zander Circuitry SiClone Silicon Chaos Initiator features a more compact footprint with beautiful knurled steel controls. The circuit is revoiced and the transistors used in this latest version are completely different.

The footswitches support both momentary and latching switching, meaning that you can temporarily engage a channel by holding your foot down on either one of the switches. You can also now engage the second footswitch from bypass, without having to activate the pedal first.

Features:

  • Updated version of SiClone Chaos Initiator for 2021
  • Super-versatile fuzz pedal
  • Top-mounted jacks
  • Shunt, Squash, Starve, Bright, Level, Body, Punch, Fuzz & Tone controls
  • Power: 9V power adaptor, centre-negative (not included).
  • Current draw: 120mA

FORMULA B Super Plexi V

£160.00

The Essence of the '60s...

If you hadn't guessed it already, the Formula B Super Plexi V (for "Vertical" - they also do a horizontal version) is based on the Marshall JTM45 "Plexi", with an additional Boost channel thrown in for good measure, capturing the sound of many legendary players from the 1960s onwards.

Effects Order

The Super Plexi V uses a rare Fairchild J201 MOSFET for beautifully warm, responsive tube-like tone. Like the Formula B Fuzz Rangers, there's a toggle to set whether the Boost comes before or after, giving you extra control of your sound - and more options to set your tone on fire!

Boost

The Boost channel on its own gives you plenty of gain to push your amp onto overdrive, but this pedal really comes alive when you partner it with the Plexi channel. Run the Boost before the Plexi for lovely saturation and density; run the Boost after the Plexi to increase the volume and gun your amp's power tubes.

Features:

  • Dual channel "Marshall-in-a-box" pedal with independent Boost and Plexi channels
  • Featuring a rare Fairchild J201 MOSFET for responsive tube-like tone
  • Effects Order toggle switch enables you to run the Boost into the Plexi, or the Plexi into the Boost when both channels are activated
  • Handmade in Todi, Italy
  • Level, Gain, Tone, Boost & Effects Order toggle controls
  • Power: 9V power supply, centre-negative (not included)
  • Current draw: 10mA
