Tremolo With 3 Switchable Modes...

The Greenhouse Effects Drifter Tremolo is a powerful device for shaping your sound, from classic warble to funked-out carnage.

Combining analogue circuitry with digital controls, it includes 7 waveform options and 3 switchable modes with footswitch functions:

Waveforms

The 7 waveform options are: Triangle, Square, Sawtooth, Sine, Reverse Sawtooth, Pulse, Random.

Drift mode

Causes the tremolo rate to increase when you hold the footswitch down, gradually decreasing upon release. Use the Time control to adjust the spool-up rate for the perfect response. A great effect to have under your foot!

Slide mode

Increases the Depth when the footswitch is held down, and thanks to the 7-way Wave control there are tons of possibilities when it comes to utilising this effect. Try using square-wave or pulse settings for synth-like sounds.

Save mode

Allows you to save a sound and recall it later. It's fully adjustable but you can revert back to the saved version at any point. Perfect for the gigging musicians out there!

Time mode

A secret mode that you can access by pressing the footswitch for 2 seconds when the pedal is turned off. Control the ramping time of the Drift and Slide modes using the Rate control.

Features:

  • Analogue tremolo circuit with digital controls
  • True bypass
  • Rate, Volume, Wave, Depth & Mode controls
  • Power: 9V power adaptor, centre-negative (not included)

GREENHOUSE EFFECTS Logos Chorus-Vibrato

Modulation Powerhouse...

The Greenhouse Effects Logos Chorus-Vibrato is a cleverly designed and beautifully executed modulation powerhouse: select from 3 chorus modes or turn the Mix knob to 100% to access a classic vibrato effect. What's more, an expression pedal input makes it even more controllable and versatile on the stage.

Pitch shifting, multiple voices, LFO, feedback, envelope detection, waveforms, distortion and even reverb are blended together and rearranged to make 48 different combinations of awesome sounds.

The pedal's party trick is its "Logos" mode, which is a chorus with an LFO featuring various pitch interval settings and added reverb. As Roy at Greenhouse Effects says, "it feels like an organ player is playing along with you in a large hall!"

The 3 Chorus Modes:

  1. Order Mode: Classic chorus with up to 8 cascading voices, normal to extreme depth, DSS: Max Depth for noisy chaos. Hidden feature: Automated rate.
  2. Chaos Mode: 8 chaotic modes of pitch modulation, envelope LFO, waveforms and double voice. DSS: Max Depth
  3. Logos Mode: Beautiful, dreamy chorus with 8 combinations of modulated intervals, octave up/down, 5th intervals, and flanger-like modulation at lower settings. This setting includes a hall-style reverb for added angelic ambience. DSS: Max Depth for noisy chaos. Hidden feature: LFO off.

One genius implementation is the DSS (Dual Switching System) , which gives you access to secondary functions in each mode when you hold down the footswitch for more than 200ms. There are also "hidden" features for each mode, accessed by maxing out the Rate control.

The Logos is another example of the great work Greenhouse Effects has been doing combining analogue circuitry with digital controls. Sit down with this for a weekend and explore all the sounds it has to offer - there's a lot to discover!

Features:

  • Multi-mode chorus pedal with vibrato setting
  • Unique "Logos" mode
  • Mod, Depth, Rate/Sens/Pitch & Mix controls
  • True bypass
  • Power: 9V power adaptor, centre-negative (not included)

FORMULA B Vintage Vibe Mk2

£199.00

Breathe & Sigh...

The Formula B Vintage Vibe Mk2 is a superb homage to the original 'Leslie-in-a-pedal', the Uni-Vibe. It's one of those memorable and highly addictive effects, up there with fuzz in terms of the character it endows songs with.

Most famously used by Jimi Hendrix during his Woodstock set and live Band Of Gypsys album, as well as by David Gilmour on Pink Floyd tracks such as 'Breathe', and Robin Trower on his Bridge Of Sighs album, the Uni-Vibe is all over late-1960s and early '70s rock.

The Formula B Vintage Vibe Mk2 sounds phenomenal with its fully discrete, analogue signal path. Made with original THT BC549 and 2Sc1815 transistors and quality photoresistors, plus an internal voltage doubler giving 18V of power, this is capable of achieving seriously chewy, organic chorus and vibrato effects with plenty of headroom.

Like the original, the Vintage Vibe Mk2 has a Volume control that allows you to achieve unity gain with the rest of your setup. You can even use it to boost your amp or other pedals - there's plenty of volume gain on tap.

Chorus/Vibrato toggle

With the toggle in the Chorus position you get the full Uni-Vibe experience. With the toggle in the Vibrato position you get out of tune pitch-bend vibrato.

Dual footswitch

The dual-footswitch design allows you to set Speed 1 and Speed 2 and access them on-the-fly. A typical setup would be to use a slower speed for rhythm playing then kick in a faster speed for solos.

Features:

  • Analogue chorus/vibrato based on the Uni-Vibe
  • Dual-speed operation with two separate footswitches
  • Old-stock transistors and high quality photoresistors
  • 9V to 18V internal voltage doubler
  • Power: 9V power adaptor, centre-negative (not included)
  • Current draw: 100-150mA
