The Greenhouse Effects Outlier is a wide-ranging, harmonically rich overdrive/distortion pedal designed to emulate a cooking tube amp.
Combining 3 cascading gain stages (2x Op-Amp & 1x FET) in a complex circuit enables all levels of drive to be accurately represented in a single pedal, from boosty overdrive and mild crunch to soaring high gain.
The Outlier's active EQ allows far more tone-shaping possibilities than a passive design, and the Bass & Treble controls are very interactive with each other.
The input and output stages feature buffers to condition your guitar signal for optimum integrity.
The Outlier's internal circuit design is as follows:
Op-Amp Buffered Input > Op-Amp Gain Stage > FET Gain Stage > Op-Amp Gain Stage > Cabinet Simulator > Active EQ > Volume Control > BJT Output Buffer
