    FORMULA B Blue Breakers

1:1 Replica Of The 1991 Marshall Blues Breaker Pedal

    £279.99

About the FORMULA B Blue Breakers

The Formula B Blue Breakers is not just inspired by the 1991 Marshall Blues Breaker pedal, it is the 1991 Marshall Blues Breaker pedal!

Marco took his own original and spent months analysing the circuit and sourcing components, so his Blue Breaker is as accurate in its details as it's possible to be. The only nod to modernity here is that the Formula B version is true bypass.

Marco told me he doesn't expect to make many more of these, as the components are getting harder and harder to find - including the high-headroom Motorola TL072CP op-amp, axial capacitors and carbon resistors.

This is as close as you'll get to the original, and Marco has done a great job not only with the circuit but also with the enclosure. It's mindboggling!

The Blue Breakers will add sweetness and raunch to your core tone, with enough crunch for rhythm and push for solos, all the while emphasising those precious harmonics.

Marco usefully includes some settings to try out, including John Mayer's settings!

    Blue Breakers Controls

Gain Adjusts amount of gain, from subtle distortion to vintage balls-to-the-wall!

Tone Adjusts the EQ, from rich, creamy and bassy to lively and biting.

Volume Adjusts the output level. Turn up to drive your amp or run at lower volumes into a distorted channel.
