    About the DRUNK BEAVER Disambiguation

The Drunk Beaver Disambiguation is a hybrid Rat/Big Muff - taking two of the most iconic distortion and fuzz pedals in rock and slamming them together for some gnarly sounds while retaining the character of your guitar.

    The Rat

The Rat-style gain stage uses a UD1408A op-amp manufactured in Kyiv; it's a Soviet-era clone of the famous LM308 chip found in the US-built Rat.

    The Muff

Combined with two subsequent gain stages based on the Russian Big Muff (using NOS Soviet KT3201EM transistors and KD521 diodes), the Disambiguation delivers a godly mid-hump and evoke the sound of a vintage Rat running full-tilt into a thick and raucous Red Army Big Muff.

The tone stack is based on the Rams Head Muff, and Vitalii has used a JFET output stage for valve-like warmth and response.

    Disambiguation Controls

Distortion - Affects amount of gain

Tone - Based on the "Ram's Head" Big Muff tone stack. Turn anti-clockwise for more bass; clockwise for more treble.

Volume - Effects the output level.
