SHIPPING TO THE USA – The Royal Mail has created a new PDDP (Postal Delivery Duties Paid) service, which will calculate exact costs at the moment we book your shipping. While we are happy to absorb some of the costs, if the cost of the pre-paid duty is significantly more than what you have paid when placing your order, we will be in touch to request the balance is covered by you.

Returns policy
Customers hold the right to return a product for a full refund if I am notified within 30 days of delivery.
If a product is delivered in a defective or damaged condition, please contact me immediately with details of your order.
To be eligible for a return, the item must be in the same condition
that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.
Please note, the cost of return delivery is to be paid by the customer. This will be reimbursed if the item is shown to be faulty.
To complete a return, I require a receipt or proof of purchase. Please do not send any items back to the manufacturer, and please do not send any items to me without contacting me first.

Replacements and refunds
My first course of action for faulty items is to replace them like-for-like. If this is not possible, a full refund will be considered as an alternative.
If returned within the 30-day period, your refund will be processed and a credit will be applied to your credit card or original method of payment.
Shipping
The customer is responsible for paying return shipping costs. Shipping costs are non-refundable unless a product is proven to be damaged or faulty upon delivery.
It is recommended that items should be returned using a trackable shipping service in case the item goes missing en route.
About the LICHTLAERM AUDIO Prometheus Mark 1.5
The Lichtlaerm Audio Prometheus Mark 1.5 is a compact, MIDI-controllable valve head for serious high-gain tones, useful cleans and complex pedalboard rigs. Use it as a complete high-gain amplifier, a pedal-friendly clean platform, or a power section for external preamps and preamp pedals.
Pre-order information
The Prometheus is built to order in Germany during quarterly build windows. Average time from order to completion is 4–6 weeks.
Payment is taken in full when the pre-order is placed. The price is fixed for the amplifier configuration selected, with no additional amplifier balance to pay. Once payment has been taken, the order cannot be cancelled.
Maintenance and returns are handled directly by Lichtlaerm. Repairs are carried out in Germany. Lichtlaerm states a two-year warranty for the original owner, subject to its terms.
UK delivery is free. International delivery is £50, and local import duties and taxes may apply outside the UK.

Why the Prometheus?
- One amp, several roles: run the Prometheus as a complete high-gain amplifier, a responsive clean platform for pedals, or a power section for external preamps and preamp pedals.
- Control for complex rigs: MIDI and MIDI Thru provide comprehensive control, while the footswitchable preamp bypass integrates external preamps without unnecessary repatching.
- Practical noise control: the built-in Key & Gate is triggered from the input and sits before the effects loop. It can be controlled from the footswitch or via MIDI.
- Pedalboard-friendly hardware: the rear 9V output powers pedals, the tube-buffered effects loop keeps time-based effects in the right place, and the optional 19-inch adapter makes the amp suitable for rack-based systems.
What’s new in the Mark 1.5?
The Mark 1.5 brings a fuller, more classic character to the Vintage mode. The Cut control now affects Modern mode only, and a colour-changing LED indicates the selected mode.
Tones and applications
The high-headroom Clean channel offers Warm and Brilliant voices. Warm is especially well suited to pedals, while Brilliant provides a clear, chimey response.
The Lead channel combines Vintage and Modern voices with a three-way Bite switch. Its range covers hard-rock and Classic Rock tones through to Doom, Black Metal and modern Metal sounds, with high- and low-gain Lead options available across the 2.5-channel layout.

Choose between two valve configurations:
- 4 × EL34: 100W
- 2 × EL34 + 2 × KT88: up to 140W

The six-button footswitch is included with every Prometheus order. The amplifier is switchable between 115V and 230V for worldwide use.
