June 2026 UK Festivals & Live Music: Download, Isle of Wight & More!

June means one thing: festival season is here! For many gig-goers and musicians, it's one of the highlights of the year. Across the globe, festival stages are being constructed for long weekends packed with the biggest names in music.

Below is a selection of key events to keep on your radar this June.

Download Festival – Donnington, UK

12th–14th June 2026

Undeniably, this is the biggest rock event in the UK. Download Festival is held at the world-famous Castle Donington Racecourse, which has hosted countless legendary lineups over the last 40 years, stemming from the original Monsters of Rock Festival.

This year's lineup is no slouch. Headlined by Guns N' Roses, Linkin Park and Limp Bizkit, the organisers have gone all out to deliver three headliners with more hits between them than you can shake a stick at. 

They did not stop there, either. The rest of the weekend is packed with performances from Architects, Babymetal, Cypress Hill, Trivium, Halestorm, Bad Omens and many more. 

Tickets are running incredibly low, so if you have not already secured yours, act fast. This is a weekend of rock and metal you do not want to miss!

Isle of Wight Festival – Isle of Wight, UK

18th–21st June 2026

The Isle of Wight Festival has been running since 1968, originally founded as a counterculture event. These days, it is a more chilled-out affair, boasting a lineup featuring the who's who of the mainstream music world. 

This year, attendees will be treated to sets from headliners Lewis Capaldi, Calvin Harris and The Cure, as well as appearances from indie heroes The Kooks, '80s legend Rick Astley, British punk pioneers the Sex Pistols and more. 

This is a very eclectic lineup and surely contains something for everyone.

BST Hyde Park – London, UK

27th June–12th July 2026

BST Hyde Park is a fortnight-long event rather than a long weekend. It technically just makes the cut for June, starting right at the end of the month. The benefit is that you do not have to attend every day, as the festival runs as a series of standalone concerts over a two-week period.

This year's lineup includes Maroon 5, Garth Brooks, Duran Duran, Pitbull, Lewis Capaldi and more. Expect days packed with great acts, fitness classes, mindfulness sessions, open-air cinema screenings and fun for the whole family.

If you want to catch the full festival season vibe in the heart of London, this is worth checking out.
