    Deliveries

Boost Guitar Pedals uses Royal Mail for all domestic deliveries and UPS for international deliveries.

UPDATE – As of 13th December 2024, we are
regrettably no longer able to ship to customers located within the EU or Northern Ireland, due to new GPSR regulations which make it prohibitively expensive for small businesses to operate in the zone.

UPDATE 2 – As of 10th April 2025, we are still shipping to the USA. Please note that due to the volatile political situation relating to tariffs, we may have to cease offering shipping here at short notice.

    Did you know?

We offer free 24-hour tracked UK delivery on all orders over £150! Order before 9pm for next-working-day dispatch.

We offer 30-day hassle-free returns so you can pick the item you want safe in the knowledge that if it's not for you, we'll take it back and refund your order.

International deliveries are subject to additional import duties and VAT at your local rate. These charges are payable to the courier at time of delivery. Calculate how much you will need to pay here.

Please note that some orders may take longer to be processed before shipping during the busiest periods of the year.

    Returns policy

Customers hold the right to return a product for a full refund if I am notified within 30 days of delivery.

If a product is delivered in a defective or damaged condition, please contact me immediately with details of your order.

To be eligible for a return, the item must be in the same condition
that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

Please note, the cost of return delivery is to be paid by the customer. This will be reimbursed if the item is shown to be faulty.

To complete a return, I require a receipt or proof of purchase. Please do not send any items back to the manufacturer, and please do not send any items to me without contacting me first.

Once I have confirmed that I will process your return, please send the item to:

    Boost Guitar Pedals (returns)
    84 Wolf Lane
    Windsor
    Berkshire
    SL4 4YZ
    United Kingdom

    Replacements and refunds

My first course of action for faulty items is to replace them like-for-like. If this is not possible, a full refund will be considered as an alternative.

If returned within the 30-day period, your refund will be processed and a credit will be applied to your credit card or original method of payment.

    Shipping

The customer is responsible for paying return shipping costs. Shipping costs are non-refundable unless a product is proven to be damaged or faulty upon delivery.

It is recommended that items should be returned using a trackable shipping service in case the item goes missing en route.

About the LICHTLAERM AUDIO Prometheus Mark 1.5

The all-valve Prometheus head is a groundbreaking MIDI-controllable two-channel guitar amp from Lichtlaerm Audio in Germany.

This is your chance to preorder yours, out of just 50 available globally in this next batch being built this summer.

The Prometheus has already proven to be in high demand with players who appreciate the ultimate in heavy tone tools. It's built in a compact chassis and features thoughtful touches that really matter to guitarists, such as the three-way Bite switch, external bias points, and defeatable preamp.

Lichtlaerm Audio's Daniel Ringl (ex-KMA Machines) has designed a stonker of an amp, offering chiming cleans and supreme high gain tones with laser focus and a superbly dialled-in midrange.

What's new in the Mark 1.5?

New for the Prometheus Mark 1.5, the Vintage mode has been redesigned to give a fuller and more ‘classic’ voice.

The Cut control now only affects the Modern mode.

A colour-changing LED has been added to reflect your mode selection: Vintage or Modern.

The Mark 1.5 is the latest version of the Prometheus, which will start shipping once building gets underway in Q3 2025.

    Prometheus highlights

The Lichtlaerm Audio Prometheus head is packed with some really juicy features:

The Clean channel features two different voicings: Warm is based on a Verellen Meatsmoke and is super pedal-friendly; Brilliant is more chimey and based on a Fender Twin with a hint of Hiwatt.

Due to the high headroom design, don't expect a ton of breakup - especially if you're running KT88s - but it's a versatile foundation for glorious clean sounds with or without pedals.

The Lead channel is uniquely voiced and designed from the ground up to cover atypical frequency ranges in order to stand out in a dense live or studio mix.

With its Vintage and Modern voices, plus 3-way Bite toggle, it's capable of covering everything from Classic Rock to Doom, and from Black Metal to Metalcore (and beyond!).

In Vintage mode with less bite you're getting classic Marshall vibes (especially if you order the 4xEL34 version), while Modern mode invokes liquid gain reminiscent of a Mesa Mark or Soldano SLO-100. But different! It's definitely its own thing.

A built-in noise gate (a complete The Key & Gate pedal circuit!) keeps hiss and noise out of the equation, even at extra-high gain settings.

The Prometheus is fully MIDI controllable, which is perfect for more complicated setups, and of course, coming from a guitar pedal company, the Prometheus is an insanely good pedal platform! Its killer feature for pedal-heads is that you can switch out the amp's own preamp section and run your favourite preamp pedals into it, making use of that tasty power section.

And if that's not enough, the Prometheus even features a built-in 9V out on the back to power your pedals!

Lichtlaerm Audio uses TAD RedBase valves when available – if not, the go-to choice is JJs.

Please note that these are built to order by Daniel during his next available build slot, so wait times may be several weeks. Please contact us if you have any queries in advance of ordering.

Note that Boost Guitar Pedals has reserved just two of the 50 global build slots. This is a UK exclusive, but of course we offer worldwide, insured delivery (with some caveats – please refer to our orders & deliveries FAQ for details.)

Delivery is free, so there will not be any hidden surprises at checkout, however if you are outside the UK please be aware that there will likely be import fees to pay, which we are not responsible for.

Once you have placed your order, we will be in touch at various points to keep you updated on your order, including confirmation of delivery tracking once it is ready.

    About Lichtlaerm Audio

Lichtlaerm Audio is based in Germany, where owner Daniel and his small team harness endless creativity to produce some of the most exciting guitar pedals out there.

Founded in 2018, Daniel took a break from running his own business in 2021 when he joined KMA Machines in Berlin, but clearly he needed an outlet for all of his ideas and so he resurrected Lichtlaerm Audio in the summer of 2022.

In addition to an astounding range of guitar pedals, Lichtlaerm Audio have expanded into amps, cabinets and even a speaker, designed in collaboration with Fane.
